the bug out bag book
I just got a book after 3 years of it being lost. How can I effectively sanitize it so there are no bugs?
I was told that putting it in a plastic bag with a fabric softener sheet would work, but I am iffy about that. It was stuck on a bug-infested boat for god-knows how long, and now I want to make sure there are no roach eggs in it. But I don't want to ruin the leather cover or the gold pages. And the pages are really thin. Any suggestions?
Before you do anything, call your local Museum and/or Library and ask the conservator what should be done.

What Am I Supposed To Do With My Water Dragon Insects/Foods.?
I'm Reading A Book About Water Dragons, And I'm Lost On What To Do When I buy It Food. Am I Supposed To Simply Take Some Bugs Out The Bag, Put Them In The Cage, And Store The Rest, And Continue the Process, Or Is There Much More To The Process. I Can't Breed Food Because I Live In An Apartment, And I Dont Know How To Store Them. Also Please Tell Me How To Gut-Load. Please Answers All My Questions In A very UseFull And Helpfull way.
Most reptiles require a calcium source. This commonly referred to as "cricket dust". You put some of that in the bag, shake it up and then drop the feeders in for your dragons. Store the remaining in an old plastic soup cup from a take out resturant. Poke some small holes so it will not smell when you open it.
Gutloading simply means feeding your feeder insects with a nutrient rich diet. This can be found at local pet stores along with the calcium dust. If you are not raising your own feeders you can try to give them the gutload food a couple hours before hand. Keep the gutload away from your animals, its for feeders only.
