    Yea, very sad. A lot of people are walking away from their mortgages because they have lost their equity. That is, the property is not worth the loan amount. The banks have a “shadow” inventory and are letting them out very slowly with a few listings here and there. If they let them all out….the whole real estate floor would open right up and prices would collapse at record speed. It's a mess. Good luck to you guys.

    We have no right to judge over when our fingers are not clean. We see dogs as pets(man's best friend as they say), but for them it is a nutritious meal.

    The same way, people from India are appalled to see the obsession of the West with beef since cows are sacred and very docile, loving animals.

    Sorry about the puppies, hope they feel better soon. Sounds like your dog got your morning sickness. I went through Hurricane Andrew in Ft.Lauderdale and Northridge Earthquake in Los Angeles. I just try to have emergency supplies on hand(still have my camping lantern from Andrew so I can read with no power ;o) BTW, love your reading list. Best to you all.
