wilderness survival gear Is there anyone else who hates society and wants to vanish into the wilderness?
I'm not a hippie or anything like that, I just think of myself as an anarchist and i hate society and conformism. I literally packed a hiking backpack full of survival gear to go live off the land in seventh grade. I was born in Alaska and moved to southern oregon when i was ten.
I'm from an upper class family and go to rich kid private school. I hate it. I have good grades and a high i.q. and have just received information that i could attend basically any college i want. I want to be Chris McCandless. He changed his name to Alexander (My Name) and died 9 months before i was born in the same town in Alaska that i was born in. I'm not religious but that freaks me out.
Anyways, anyone with any ideas about living off the land with me, shoot me an e-mail, alexlew22@yahoo.com. We could start a little town in southwest Alaska. Totally off the grid. Someone convince me I'm not crazy. Thanks.

Bottled water, canned food, batteries, matches, money, pet food, and anything else you need(medicine and first aid kit) you may want to have a couple of cans of gas ready. Rotate your gas supply every couple of months to keep it fresh. If you own a firearm, get an extra box of ammo.
72 hour What is the 72 hour guideline (in reference to weight training)?

Sorry I don't understand some of your answers. Do you mean it requires at least 72 hours for full recovery, or that one should not exceed 72 hours before going back to the gym (otherwise the muscle will start to atrophy again?). Thanks.
its just a matter of your muscle recovery time, although 72 hours isnt all the way true, larger muscle groups take longer to recuperate and build from a hard workout session
