Chinese earthquake = too much of a coincidence?

8 is the "lucky" number in China. That's why they chose 8/8/2008 for the Olympics. Yet, the earthquake occured EXACTLY 88 days for 8/8/2008, on 5/12/2008. Is this too much of a coincidence, hmmm?
I meant 88 days FROM 8/8/2008, not FOR. Sorry, my bad!

My dad's been talking about this for awhile (:

I think it's just a freaky coincidence. Really, REALLY freaky.

But anyways, I agree with 奶香核桃酥, let's focus on the relief effort for now and dwell on the coincidentalness(?) later.

Exactly, has anyone died?? Not from what I have heard. Yes it's bad for families stuck in limbo, and bad for the economy, but let's put it in perspective, Haiti, Chinese Earthquakes even 9/11 – this is a national inconvienience not disaster. As said previously – I do understand the frustration and upset, it's the anger and attempt at blame that I have seen.Although as this goes on I have seen less of it!
