If you still go to school, during earthquake drills, can you fit under the desks?

The California Shakeout is tommorrow. I've been drills before. I'm kinda tall for my age. So, I've had trouble fitting under the desks at school. I'm scared that if a real earthquake happens, I won't be able to protect my full body.

Yeah, kinda scary...How about you people? Can you fit?
I'm 5'5'' also. And the desks are like freakin small!!! LOL
During the drill, you're supposed to Drop, Cover, and Hold. After a while, then you go outside...for like HOURS.

OMG i dont wanna really do the California Shakeout tomorrow, though the fact that they will choose 2 students from each class and 2 teachers from the staff to be injured would be cool................
Well anyway, yes I can definetly fit under my desk, I'm only like 5 feet tall for pete's sake ( I'm young....very very young). Maybe if you cant fit under ur desk, try ummm.......o well just try to fit most of your upper body so you can protect ur spine and stuff.
My brother ACTUALLY thought that there would be a 7.8 earthquake tommorow.

Earthquake Drill

Probability of an earthquake in California?

theyre having this earthquake drill today and they said we are passed due for a major quake many years ago

so does this mean the big one could hit us any minute???

It's very probable that there will be an earthquake in California.

Yet another reason I'll be glad to get the heck out of dodge. The little ones are entertaining. I've heard enough about Northridge to not want to be here for a big one.

Since 1994's Northridge 'quake, I've been expecting another 'big' one before 2015. Having lived in SoCal all my life, the pattern of large 'quakes seems to be one every 20-25 years. Also, they tend to occur in the early part of the year. Perhaps 12-21-12 isn't too soon…
