   Well since we live in south MS I should be wanting the 2 Person Fire, Flood & Earthquake Emergency Kit but my heart says I’d LOVE a Cansolidator! The BIG one! Like Pantry Heaven!

   The only people I know who stockpile "for years" are the mormons, and if I recall correctly, they only stock up for "one" year. Most people in earthquake and tornado prone areas are asked to stock up for 3 months only (and rotate that food so it doesn't go bad) just enough time so that the government can get to you to assist further.

   Here we're requested to have enough food and water for our family members for at least a month, preferably three months. And are asked to provide for yourself as far as medical supplies and the medications people might be needing and currently taking.

   Sure, major catastrophes continue to occur. It never hurts to be prepared.

   I have the basics stored, but I also have a duffle bag ready because in some instances people can't ever come back home after a catastrophy.

   Thanks for that…very well writen…

   BUT, people turn a blind eye to those they follow and follow blindly those who will make them "feel" safe.

   I have posted question about Bush declaring himself a dictator, and I was quickly ridiculed and told that I was nothing more than a "conspiracy theorist"….

   They are very good sheople….I am sure they mean well….but I just don't think that they know any better.

   I think that it is sad that in the United States this is happening and people have been so dubmed down and brainwashed that they don't even see it.

   I feel sorry for my son and the world that we are leaving for him.
