Do you think Haiti can be saved?

You still see stories about the earthquake recovery and yet you don't see much in the way of more aid to that poorest of Western Hemisphere countries.
I love to see that people care about others.

The world will survive only if there are more people like you in it. You are the tip of the iceberg of hope.

More humanitarian aid (money, clothing, medicine, food and water) needs to be sent to Haiti (and to the people who need it). The Haitians are human beings like everyone else in the world and deserve the help they need.

On account of its poverty Haiti did not enforce adequate building codes and suffered great damage in the recent earthquake. Recovery plans are now being developed.

(The claims are the poverty, the lack of enforcement, and the developing plans.)

I know how you feel, I had to write a ton of essays in school. Listen, all you have to do is think of the three claims and put in your FIRST paragraph. Then in the following paragraphs put them in order however you want (importance, occurence, etc.,).

What you should really do is type out an outline of what you are thinking of, because i'm sure you have a whole plethera of ideas, but no way to organise them. Set it up like this.

    I. Intro
    – claim #1
= sentence or explanation of claim
    – claim #2
= sentence or explanation of claim
    – claim #3
= sentence or explanation of claim
    II. Paragraph 1
    – 1st claim
= (here you would put bullet points, thoughts, and/or good sentences about the topic)
    etc.,

This seriously helped me get through all of my essays. If you organise the ideas on paper, it becomes SO much easier than it was before, and you can basically vomit out your thoughts on paper. (I called it word-vomit)

Good luck, and I hope this helped you out!
