What is the worst time of day for an earthquake to happen?
At night when people are sleeping, during the business day when children are in school, or in the evening when people are at home? I would think that during commute times would be safest.
Commute time would probably be the worst. There would be a closer congestion of people on the freeways. The San Andreas is a pretty good example of that. It runs up through Los Angeles from Mexico and through Bakersfield and North. I-55 is another bad spot. It runs from the Gulf of Mexico to the bottom of Lake Michigan. You can just imagine what is going to happen there. In short, move away from any and all major fault lines if possible. The fault line destruction in the movie 2012 is just about right. When Jesus spoke of the earthquakes in divers places HE meant this kind of destruction. Not any 6.5 or 7.0.
