Being from California, I feel it is my duty to inform you of proper earthquake safety guidelines – when the big one hits you must IMMEDIATELY run under a doorframe or dive under a small child's classroom desk and cover your head with your arms. In developed countries old distressed buildings are demolished for new structures. In the Philippines, seldom we see old buildings demolished precisely because of the costs involved. If ever a significant intensity of earthquake will occur, old buildings are most likely to give up unless they are retroffited.
damn u could get into stanford with all that….a good science and engineering school for you would have to be Virginia Tech…and i live in virginia and can tell you first hand that it is a good school with good oppurtunities
