Where is all the help for Chile?
Why aren't the church groups organizing to send people to Chile to help find people or rebuild?
Why aren;t the celebrities planning relief concerts?
Why aren't there "donate to the Chilean earthquake effort" signs at your local grocery store?
Does "political correctness" have something to do with who you help?
This earthquake was 80 times more powerful than Haiti.
Yes, it was a much more powerful quake, but the Chilean government has done a much better job than Haiti with building codes and has a much better disaster response structure. Haiti was a poverty stricken mess before their quake. Chile was not. Still, there are plenty of ways to donate and help.
P.S. to "Mar": He??? The president of Chile is a woman.

I got to thinking and was wondering if I could eat (in an emergancy) Friskies cat food? I mean once in an unluckly spin (dare), I ate a teaspoon and it actually tasted not so bad.
So, here is my question. Would it be unhealthy to eat Mister Tinkle-Puss' Friskies cat food? Is there a reason we shouldn't eat it?
I'd love the answer to this other than: "I should see a doctor", because I'm only going to ask you if will you go with me?
It would keep you alive in an emergency. It would not sustain you for an extended period of time, as it does not have the the nutrients that a human needs, it has the nutrients that a cat needs. If you are concerned about an emergency situation, stock up and canned people foods and keep an can opener with the canned goods, also keep a couple gallons of water on hand. In the case of an emergency and you ate all the cat food, what would the cat eat? You will both need water.
