I don't live in an earthquake zone, and no store around here sells earthquake straps and all stores refuse to order me one, and I can't find one online.
I wanta be prepared if there is an earthquake cause of the predictions of the intercontenantial and magnetic drift coming in 2012.

how to put on gymnastics safety straps
securing a plasma TV in a seismic area?
We're looking at getting a flat screen plasma TV. I've seen that they come on these dinky pedastle stands. I'm wondering whats the best option for keeping these TVs safe and secure as possible when you live in a seismic area? I have a large TV stand. Is it better to secure it on the tv stand and wall with earthquake straps or get one of the wall mounted frames and do it that way?
