Was there an earthquake in Calfornia today?
I am hearing this all over Yahoo.
Yes. 5.7 epicenter was Ocotillo, Calif. The news just said it was an aftershock of the Easter Sunday, Mexicali earthquake. I felt it, and I'm in LA, near the Orange County border.

I was going to call the ducks in the pond across the street and report a 3" tsunami headed their way, but the lines went dead.
My desk started shaking ... I through a disgruntled employee was learning how to drive a forklift into walls to create more work for himself to stay employed.

Yes sure is, all they seem to do is report tragedy after tragedy, now i know these things happen sure but also loads of wonderful things 24/7 and it would be nice to hear about some of them for a change..
Do it, we welcome you! except we just had a 7.1 earthquake today and we are all a little ‘shaken’. Lots of damage but as it happend at 4.30 in the morning no one was killed. Im an undergrad at University of Canterbury which is well known for Law and engineering but also offers heaps of other courses. Dunedin has the University of Otago, New Zealands best med school. what’s your field of study?
BTW, I love Carl Sagan. I didn't know Carl Sagan was a belief system or something, i.e. “If you know Sagan and his work, you will never accept any new ideas, or be willing to give them a chance”.
