Do animals know more than we do about weather?

Despite all our gadgets, they seem to know about earth/weather events before us. Earthquakes, floods, forest fires, and all manor of storms.
Are our senses that weak, or are we distracted by sensory "overload"?

They're more observant with their eyes. Most humans never learn to see the signs of a coming disaster.

Our brains are perfectly capable of handling all we can see. We just think we've got better things to do.

But it's not as bad as you think. Our sensors can detect things way before animals can. But sometimes humans misjudge the data, or just didn't care to look at something, and those are the times you hear about.

If you watch the weather forecast, you'll know more about coming storms, floods or forest fires than any other animal.

Today, is was in the low 80s.
and the weather forecast is saying that on saturday or sunday, its gonna rain.
The weather change is so dramatic. Is this a sign of an earthquake?
