Are all the earthquakes happening lately leading up to something big?


First it was the earthquake in Haiti. Then it was the earthquake in Chile. 2 major earthquakes within a month of each other. Now there's been some tremors in california, one even going as high as 4.3 on the richter scale. And im wondering... Are these earthquakes leading up to something big? Such as The Big One?

There are not more earthquakes then before.
In the link below you will find many earthquakes of the last century, and often there were several in one year.
And I don't remember the world ending back then.

What are the largest earthquakes in history to occur in fracture zones?


What is the largest earthquake to ever occur from shifting in a rift/fracture zone, such as the East Africa rift, the Mendocino Fracture zone, the Tjörnes Fracture Zone, ect.? Also if you have the date and general locations of these earthquakes, that would help a lot. Thank you!

East Africa rift: The largest earthquake to have occurred in the rift system since 1900 had a magnitude of about 7.6. Most earthquakes within the East African rift system occur as the result of either normal faulting or strike-slip faulting.

    Where were there earthquakes in the Book of Genesis, BEFORE Adam & Eve sinned?

    And where are earthquakes mentioned in these verses here?

    Hi Jessica,

    You Kiwis are always the first to send aid to help with our natural disasters, the recent floods and cyclone, bush fires spring to mind. Its called all sorts of things…Anzac spirit, being a good neighbour, mutual admiration [except on the rugby field! lol] human compassion or just closeness.

    I hope you and your family are OK. Your lovely country WILL rebuild, for the simple reason that you are Kiwi's and Kiwi's don't know how to give in.
