Steve’s Original is an incredible partner in the help for a more primal and hence more cooeperative world. Steve uses the primal food and snacks he sells to benefit inner city youth. He employs many of the youth to help with the operations of his Paleo food kits. A huge component of our evolutionary genetics is the social aspect of primal living. Grok would have had a close knit community that he supported and that helped to support him in various capacities throughout his life. This is what Steve is all about…fostering that community through good clean food, activity, and community. It doesn’t get any more primal than that!

By the way, our RS just put together 72 hour food kits. The kits include food for one person for 72 hours, a list of what food to eat for each meal, and a grocery list for when you need to replace the food (the food is good for a year.) We also put together binders of really good info. about emergency preparedness. The packet of info. for the binders is actually put out by BYU (they sale it at the ASB for $6) so we just had to put the pages in binders/plastic cover sheets. Anyway, the info. is so good. If you're interested in any of it (since I'm copying your stuff!) just let me know!

You have to understand the aspects of marriage and divorce when in the ARMY. So many men come home from duty to find their houses empty and have to fight tooth and nail, spend an arm and a leg, just to see their kids. Im sure he has seen this first hand and is being cautious. Though it does border on control issues….
I would suggest some counseling between the two of you to try to figure this out before it becomes a bigger issue. The ARMY has the facilities necessary to do this. They have counselors on base that know how to deal with these things appropriately.
