What kind of emergency food is being supplied to Japan?

I just wanted to know what kinds of food are being supplied to Japan right now as aid. I heard that rice and bread are coming from within certain areas of the country to other areas more effected, but I haven't heard much about what's coming in from outside. Is it generally all the same sort of stuff? Rice, beans, dried milk kinda stuff?

Thanks

I think the Japanese like sushi. [The people in Japan aren't exactly poor you know.]

I agree that there appears to be some odd dynamic in place. I've really started working this summer on a special closet to store emergency food supplies, first aid, and so on. It just feels like…I don't know. Emergencies and disasters are coming on too fast and like you said, in oddnesses. And with the US sinking so low in world opinion and our leaders seeming not to be aware of the dangers…I fear for our country.

Sanitary products have a higher tax on them. Women used rags in the old old old days. For obvious reasons, women need those products otherwise their already awful situation will be made more uncomfortable. Lack of these products would result in stained underwear and clothing.
