What crazy weather is your state famous for? ?

I'm from San Francisco, CA. We're famous for earthquakes. Southern CA is famous for wildfires and mudslides. People not from CA are really scared of them. Earthquakes are really not that bad, I am scared of wildfires though.
I couldn't live out of CA because I am terrified of ice storms and tornadoes.
What about you?
Also where couldn't you live because of the weather?

Here on Guam we have "Super Typhoons".
