Fire Responder Paramedic
What can you do with an EMT-B?
Do they administrator IVs? Shots? Or is it just like perform CPR if needed and keep the patient stable until a paramedic comes and does the dirty work. For example what would an EMT do in a car crash as the first responder? What about someone saved from a fire and having difficulties? Someone who's having cardiac arrest? etc.. Thanks.
there are a few drugs you can give or assist with, like o2 and nitrogen.. and a few more.. i am not sure of the list because the state i live in does not have emt-b's...
you cannot do iv's..
but stabilize, take vitals, do cpr, bandaging, splinting, and a few other things...
