How do you remove radiation from food and water?
Say food has been contaminated with radiation, and also lets say water too. How do we remove the radiation from the water? And the food?
"Radiation contamination" is contamination with something that is radioactive. You can't remove "radioactivity", only material which is radioactive. There are various ways to remove contaminants from water including distillation, reverse osmosis and filtration.

Cancer from heated or frozen Plastic Food & Water Containers?
We have 2400 people at the power plant I work at. As a boilermaker, we depend on frozen bottles of drinking water to survive the temperatures we work in. When the water is gone, we refill the containers and refreeze them. We eat 3 meals a day mostly heated in mictowaved plastic containers. All of us do. Can we all be doomed? Why hasn't the surgeon general spoken up and taken Tupperware off the market? Why haven't the makers of bottled water been warned that they cannot refill those 5 gallon jugs and be made to switch back to glass if this is true? Our own military combat food (MRE's) is packaged in plastic! They've been using plastic canteens since the late 50's. They get hot in the summer and freeze in the winter, With the whole world eating and drinking out of plastic, how can this cancer scare be true? Show me the proof then show me what is being done about it!

At east the Iranian President is telling the TRUTH about the damned Israelis, that's more than I can say for the MORONS we have running our government. The only thing that can save the US now is for Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich to be elected President. Otherwise we will shortly be totally bankrupt because of the stupidity of our government's foreign policies. Brad knows he has to do something for him to stay on the island longer. Sure Mariah isn't STRONG, but neither is Sarah. He takes Mariah somewhere alone, and sits there and makes her practice making a fire. She tries and tries until she gets it. Mariah can now make a fire with ease. Sarah goes to chat with Brad a bit to see if the plan is still there. Brad tells her yes, but Sarah still feels uneasy about iit. She has a feeling shes leaving, but it is to late to start making fire..When they get to tribal Brad and Mimi vote for Sarah, while Chuck and Sarah vote for Mariah..
We get to the fire making challenge and Sarah is unprepared and can't make the fire..Mariah makes a fire in less than a minute. Chuck, Sarah, and Jeff Probst are shocked, because she couldn't make a fire in 3 whole hours last time..
