Medical kit
Does anyone know of anywhere I can get a goverment grant for paying medical bills?? without paying for a kit?
Has anyone gotten a govenament grant to pay meical bills?
there is no grant that i know of, but i do know that hospitals have what is called 'charity care'. it may have a different name, but they are all basically the same... to help people pay for medical expenses. hospitals (private ones can i think) are not allowed by law to turn away patients because they have no health coverage. so its basically to help prevent this from happening anymore.
if you have doctors bills and things like that, you can contact your states health and human services department. it should be in your phone book or go to your states website (NJ.gov or WA.gov or PA.gov, etc) and look for it. call and tell them your situation. ask if they have medical coverage for your income bracket.
a handful of states offer medical coverage for ALL of their states residents. maybe your one of the lucky ones.
if you need medical care, all counties in all states have some clinics of some sort. dental care, your screwd (i guess they dont realize bad teeth can make you sick or even die).
if you owe lots of medical bills to different providers, you may wish to consolidate those bills with a consumer credit counselor or advocate. its worth a try.
do a google search for more, but here are a couple that may be able to help. if you really need to, bankrupt 'em out...but only as a last resort.

At my baby shower I got a medical kit thing. It has a rubber thing that goes over your finger to massage her gums, but it doesn't say at what age to use it.
She's 5 weeks old on wednesday, when can I start using it?
