Ok, tomorrow i have to do a presentation about natural disasters with my group.I was chosen as leader,and I've decided to make a power point.There are 8 people in my group so +8 topics such as ,what causes an earthquake,how to prepare for one,what does it do. etc. is ideal.Could you guys help me out,I'm stuck on what to do!?!?!?! I need to get the topics, do some research and put together a powerpoint by 12 o'clock tonight!!!!OMB,i need some time management classes.I don't midn if you give me less than 8 or more than eight, just a little help.
Alright, I am an Elementary Education major and I just had to do a Thematic Unit on Earthquakes, Volcanoes and Plate Tectonics. I based it on a 4th grade class. I don't know if this will help but, I will give you some websites. If I could send you my thematic unit online I would but, It is over 100 pages and I would have to retype it.

What are some things to consider in preparation for an earthquake?
Especially us Californians. Some of us are near the San Andreas! Aren't you guys scared? How do you prepare for "the" big quake?
You don't, really. I'm a transplanted New York City girl, and the first one scared me... after that, it was like "oh, that again?"
You can't live your life scared, and when your "number" is up, you're NOT going to escape your destiny. For me, if that means dying in a quake, so be it. But you CAN'T not live your life in the meantime.
Just make sure you have two weeks worth of emergency supplies, extra cash, etc... and I *ALWAYS* make sure that my car has at *LEAST* a half-tank of gas or more, just in case.
The price you pay for livin' in paradise, my friend.
