photo or link to a USAF issue .38 Smith & Wesson revolver?
Hi I want photo of the USAF .38 Smith & Wesson revolver, to add to a survival equipment display.
(I don't want a replica on my display)
I have a survival kit vest I have most of the contents to show but not the gun, (and I don't want or need a replica or blank firer.
if possible actual size so I can mount the photo on card. and place in the holster on the vest I have.
I don't want anything that could be stolen and used by a criminal.

would the gun be all black?
black metal/ plastic butt.
silver metal / wooden butt.
The USAF quit issuing the .38 in 1987 or so. If you're looking for a Vietnam-era vest, then they were all black (obviously) with plastic grips.

the thing we need when lost at sea?
consider this situation.You are adrift on a private yatch in the South pacific when a fire of unknown origin destroys the yatch and most its contents.you and small group of survivors are now in a large raft with oars. Your location is unclear, but you estimate being about 1000miles south-southwest of nearset land. One person has just found in her pockets five $1 bills and a packet of matches.Everyone else's pockets are empty.just the item are available on the raft : sextant, shaving mirror, 5 gallons of water, mosquito netting, 1 survival meal, maps of Pacific Ocean, floatable seat cushion, 2 gallons oil gas mix, small transistor radio, shark repellant, 20 squares feet black plastic, 1 quart of 20 proof rum, 15 feet of nylon rope, 24 chocolate bar, and fishing kit. help me to ranking this item and give the reason also.Plezzzz...
things you need the most:
5 gallons of water: for rehydrating yourself since sea water cannot be used.
24 chocolate bar, 1 survival meal: will act as food for days to come if you cannot find any island or rescue.
Fishing Kit: if food is gone, you can go catch fish for food.
If everyone is full:
Sextant, Maps of Pacific Ocean: if anyone , knows how to use these things, you can easily calculate your location and possible location of any islands.
Small Transistor Radio: to try and contact anyone for SOS call.
If you encounter any ships or plane:
Shaving mirror: for signal
If you reach any island:
floatable seat cushion: to go there if you are near the island.
15 feet of nylon rope: to tie the raft.
five $1 bills,packet of matches,2 gallons oil gas mix(use 1 quart of 20 proof rum if gas is out): to try and create a fire to signal anyone.
20 squares feet black plastic(as your sleeping bag; can also be use as a signal for SOS.
least needed:
mosquito netting: if there are mosquitoes
shark repellant: to repel sharks.
