please tell me how to make a survival kit?
im a fan of man vs wild and also how to make a survival kit
Ok your survival kit will be made up according to your individual needs. Things such as medication need to be considered, if you are allergic to bee stings or have a medical condition then include that in your kit.
Water purification tablets and a steel cup to boil water.
A space blanket or any of the Mylar survival blankets.
Small fishing kit.
First aid kit
Pocket knife
Compass and map of the area
Emergency flare so search and rescue can find you.
Energy bars or a couple of MRE’s
Whistle; exhausted hypothermic people may not be able to yell to a rescue party but can use a whistle.
Signal mirror
Water proof matches; cut a piece of cardboard in the size of a playing card, insert strike anywhere matches inside with tip sticking out and drop in pan of melted wax, let dry and you now have a waterproof fire starter.
Lighter
Insect repellent small bottle of 100%DEET
A 6 foot x 6 ft piece of plastic for a solar still to get drinking water from soil or leaves.
Extra pair of socks in ziplock bag
Snare wire
Small LED flashlight
Sewing kit
$20 with $5 of it in change for a pay phone.
A pencil with a few feet of duct tape wrapped around it and some writing paper wrapped around that with a rubber band holding the paper on; for messages and repairs.
Other things that might be an idea; multi-tool, magnesium fire starter, chap stick, mosquito head net, bandana, sock hat, wool gloves, para cord, water filter straw, canteen.
The survival kit should be thought out as how long could you be lostor stranded, 24 hours, 72 hours a week?
For wilderness areas you might pack a small .22 pistol with extra ammo or a sling shot with extra bands to kill small animals for food. Some here in Alaska pack a small gill net to catch fish.
I was stranded on an island in the panhandle of Alaska for about a week due to bad weather. The survival kit in my small boat made that stay much easier and comfortable. And thanks to the small tarp I had in it I was able to make a nice shelter from the rain and snow.

I need life/school/enemy/girl survival kit ideas?
My best friend is going through some hard times right now with a mean girl at school. I mean REALLY mean. She is really depressed (not clinically depressed, and no she does not need 'help'). I want to make her a survival kit for life/school/enemies/etc. and I need ideas of what to put in it... any help?
Kleenex, some chocolate chip cookies, a friend poem or a mushy friend card to put in there. One thing as far as the problems, etc. that she is going through I got this thing called a worry box from someone. It was really cute, a small white box and when you opened it there were three crystal angels in there and then a worry poem that goes: Your Worry Box = This box is for your worries, the aches within your heart, a place to tuck away your fears, where love and hope can start, so keep this box beside you, and know how much they care, for when you need peach and joy, the angels will be there.
