Zombie Survival Games?
Are there any Zombie survival games out there?, i don't want a game like dead rising, im looking for a game where you can barricade doors, build a shelter, and rescue survivors, basically have many options for what you do. I also don't want a game where its only text, like Urban Dead.
(I've played Dead Rising and enjoyed it, but the problem was it wasn't really a survival game, just a run around doing missions, you couldn't set up a shelter or anything, As for the Game Last Stand i beat it and enjoyed it, looking for something like it but longer, possibly an mmorpg
As for resident evil games, i've beaten them all, i enjoyed them but it still didnt have what i was looking for

Urban Survival Patio Gardening - Episode 1
What have you done to prepare for an economic meltdown?
Have you or anyone that you know taken any measures to prepare for a possible economic meltdown. Normal sane and reasonable people that I know are starting to openly discuss the possible scenarios. I was taken back when I was speaking to a reasonable well educated mechanical engineer that I know tell me that he was studying an urban survival guide. I am starting to believe that most Americans are taking action, but remain private about it because they are afraid of ridicule. Even if there is a remote chance of a terrible crisis; have you made any plans to protect your family? Please share your thoughts.
I have a sufficient supply of guns and ammunition. MRE's and non-perishable foods. My medical kit has grown to include some basic field surgical supplies, suture kits, sterile IV's, and another month's supply of our prescription meds. 15-20 five gallon containers of gasoline with fuel stabilizer that I have not yet added. Instead of fueling our cars at the service station, we fuel our cars out of those cans and refill them at the service station. It keeps them rotated. But the stabilizer is there in case it's needed for long term storage later. Basic wear and tear repair stuff, belts, hoses, filters, etc.... not only for the cars but for the home. A generator for my water well. I have tried to build an emergency cash supply but I keep having to dip into it. It's a work in progress.
This is not only for economic crisis, or civil unrest. Having these supplies are necessary for many reasons. Here in FL, hurricanes are a nasty byproduct of living in "paradise." It's best to be prepared to be without basic services for at least a week. Drinking water, food, medical supplies. I've seen devastation where if someone called for help, there was just no one coming... not anytime soon anyway. You need to have the ability to fend for yourself, defend yourself, feed yourself and shelter yourself. If not, well... you're just at the mercy of everyone else.
btw... aurorah "SANE AND REASONABLE??" How bout lazy and in denial? Go about your daily life. So will I. But when the sh** hit's the fan, and it can...(I've seen it during hurricanes Ivan and Katrina) it's people like you who all of a sudden want to be friends with people like me. Ain't it funny how that works out? Nothing paranoid about making sure one has reserves. But it is irresponsible to have the ability to do so and choose not to. You'll be one of the people relying on the ... ahem... "government" to help you. Whatever. It's your cesspool... swim in it.

You stand a great chance in a city with a "pack" of people.
In nature you just stand a better chance for food, meat or otherwise. and shelter fresh water.
I have always loved the woods more than the city but a true surviver can do it anywhere!
Note: The southern and western part of America give you better rural chances to survive.
